Police are searching for a lone gunman after a man was shot on Lower All Saints Road on Thursday night.

The shooting occurred at about 9:30 p.m., when a nearby business owner reportedly heard two gunshots and later saw the injured man moving toward the Public Market.

Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to the hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his leg.

Police arrived shortly afterward and launched an investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914.
