The Antigua and Barbuda Athletic Association has congratulated national sprinter

following a season it described as being marked by dedication, perseverance and continued progress.

In a message to Campbell, the association praised his determination to continue developing his abilities and competing while representing Antigua and Barbuda.

Campbell was among the country’s medal winners at the

2026 OECS Athletics Championships in St. Kitts

, where he secured bronze in the men’s 200 metres.

He crossed the finish line in

21.11 seconds

, finishing behind fellow Antiguan Jalen Dyett, who claimed silver in 20.94 seconds. The performances gave Antigua and Barbuda two places on the men’s 200-metre podium.

The Athletic Association said Campbell’s commitment to the sport and the pride with which he represents the twin-island nation demonstrate the focus and character needed to continue progressing.

“As you prepare for the seasons ahead, continue to embrace every challenge, learn from every experience, and remain committed to becoming the best athlete you can be,” the association said.

It added that each season provides another opportunity for Campbell to “raise the bar and reach new heights.”

The association said it looks forward to seeing Campbell’s continued growth, stronger performances and future accomplishments both on and off the track.
