A vehicle crashed into the newly installed fence at the Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross headquarters on Old Parham Road in the early hours of Saturday.
The white Toyota Vitz suffered significant damage to its rear and left side after striking the property. The collision also damaged a concrete pillar and destroyed part of the metal fence and gate.
Debris, including broken concrete and twisted metal, was scattered across the roadway, with the vehicle coming to rest against the property.
The driver’s condition was not immediately known, and authorities have not yet confirmed what caused the crash.
The damage comes shortly after the Red Cross completed work on the new fence. Further details are expected as investigations continue.
