Family and friends will gather today to celebrate the life of 24-year-old Garth A. Cody Gomes, nearly two months after his death.

The service will begin at 1:30 p.m. at Beacon Light Church of the Nazarene.

Gomes died July 6 after he was found unresponsive at his home in Swetes. Police launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death and urged the public to respect his family’s privacy.
