Prime Minister Gaston Browne has announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of either of the two gunmen involved in Friday’s robbery at the WIOC service station on Buckley Line.

Browne announced the reward during the Browne and Browne Show on Pointe FM.

Police said two masked men armed with guns targeted the service station at about 4 p.m. One entered the building with a handgun and stole an undisclosed amount of money from the cashier.

The second man, who was carrying a rifle, held a pump attendant at gunpoint and took a pouch containing proceeds from fuel sales.

The robbers fled on foot and reportedly fired a shot before escaping in a dark-purple Toyota Ractis. Investigators recovered a spent shell at the scene.

Surveillance footage captured frightened employees cowering during the robbery. One person was also seen collapsing amid the ordeal.
