Antigua’s Carnival 2026 may be over and while Insane Carnival continues to bring down the curtains for the season, one of the band’s renowned photographers chose this opportune time to reveal two very special gifts.

Photographer, Justin Peters, a truly warm and dedicated individual with a keen eye for detail and known for capturing the band’s Troopers annually, continues to capture the very essence of comradery, colours, vibrancy and the true depiction of Janna Costume Designs in all its splendor.

Two of the band’s most influential and globally recognized faces, fitness/dance instructor and content creator Shannan “Dancer Boy Shan” Lawes and sultry vocalist, Asher Otto, were the recipients of the framed and timeless JP photography images.

They both expressed immense gratitude to Justin for such a thoughtful piece but lamented on how much he captured the very emotions they felt while playing mas in exquisite Janna Costume Designs.

Both images of these two creatives, have been utilized to market Antigua’s carnival over the past few years with Shannan’s Photo being featured in the most recent internationally acclaimed Forbes’ magazine, where Baz Dreisinger, described her epic Insane Carnival and unique Antiguan and Barbudan experience for this year’s summer festival.

The article was well received and truly encapsulated not only the island’s unique road experience but a true Insane Carnival epic road experience: the very vision leader and Managing Director Captain Lenroy Browne had when Insane was officially launched back in 2014. Together with Janna Henry of Janna’s Costume Designs, they brought their shared vision to life, a twelve-year- legacy and a standard that Captain Browne always says “the very best is still yet to come”. Insane Carnival salutes Justin on his continued progress and personal development, his commitment to capturing every emotion and beauty and all troopers in full enjoyment. Dancer Boy Shannan and Asher are true, loyal Troopers who are most deserving of such stunning art. These are the types of relationships that are fostered and deeply embedded in Insane Carnival; days where our Troopers already know- Expect Anything!
