The Antigua and Barbuda government is considering submitting a bid to host the Caribbean Premier League finals in 2027, following the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons’ historic championship victory.

Director General of Communications in the Prime Minister’s Office Maurice Merchant said Thursday that Cabinet discussed the possibility of bringing the CPL finals to Antigua and Barbuda next year.

Cabinet also praised the Falcons for capturing their first CPL title, describing the achievement as a proud moment for the team and the nation.

Congratulations were extended to the players, coaching staff, management and everyone associated with the franchise for their title-winning performance.
