The Antigua & Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF) has proudly deployed a contingent of soldiers to participate in Exercise Tradewinds 2025 (TW25) — a premier multinational training operation co-hosted by the U.S. Southern Command and the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force.
TW25 brings together over 30 partner nations in a united effort to enhance regional security, disaster response capabilities, and joint operational readiness across land, sea, air, and cyber domains.
The exercise is designed to strengthen partnerships and bolster preparedness against complex challenges, including natural disasters, violent extremism, and malign influences.
Ahead of their departure, Chief of Defence Staff Brigadier Telbert Benjamin met with the troops to offer words of encouragement and extend his best wishes as they embark on this critical training mission.
ABDF’s participation reflects its unwavering commitment to regional collaboration and security, standing with international allies in the pursuit of peace and stability across the Caribbean and beyond.
