    Two Suspects in Police Custody for Alleged Theft of Vehicle

    The police are questioning two male suspects in connection with the alleged theft of a motor vehicle.

    Around 2 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department were conducting mobile patrols in the Villa area when they intercepted a silver Toyota Vitz that had been reported stolen.

    Two occupants, a 16-year-old and an adult male, were apprehended and taken into police custody.

    The said vehicle was reportedly stolen from the owner on Tuesday, May 13, in the vicinity of the Antigua Grammar School.

    It was taken to the Police Headquarters for further forensic examination. Further investigations are ongoing into the incident.
