The Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission has joined the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival 2025 as a cultural partner, using the opportunity to promote one of the Caribbean’s most eagerly awaited celebrations — Antigua and Barbuda Carnival 2025.

The collaboration forms part of a broader cultural exchange between the two Eastern Caribbean nations, with both countries embracing regional unity through music, art, and heritage.

At the Saint Lucia event, representatives from the Commission engaged festivalgoers with vibrant displays and promotional activities, offering a taste of what to expect from Carnival 2025, which is set to climax on Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 August.

Those dates mark the high point of Antigua and Barbuda’s Carnival season, traditionally featuring grand parades, flamboyant costumes, steelpan music, calypso competitions, and deeply rooted cultural traditions.

Described as “the Caribbean’s Greatest Summer Festival,” the Antigua and Barbuda Carnival has grown in both scale and international recognition.

The promotion at the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival reflects efforts to attract more regional and international visitors, while strengthening cultural ties among island nations.

Festival officials said the partnership underscored a shared vision of preserving and celebrating Caribbean identity through the arts.

Further announcements on the full Antigua and Barbuda Carnival 2025 programme are expected in the coming weeks.
