Chief Magistrate Ngaio Emmanuel has ruled that the list of exhibits submitted by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in the Chantel Crump murder matter is incomplete.
During Wednesday’s proceedings in the St John’s Magistrates’ Court, the prosecution acknowledged the issue and requested time to correct its submission.
The magistrate granted the request and gave the DPP’s office until March 23, 2026, to file a complete list of exhibits.
The case involves Angela Mejia, who is accused in connection with the death of nine-year-old Chantel Crump. The matter has already been committed to the High Court for trial.
The additional exhibits are expected to form part of the prosecution’s case when the trial begins.
