Her Excellency Lady Sandra Williams today announced the launch of Fostering the Future Together in Antigua and Barbuda by Halo Foundation, joining a global coalition to advance child well-being online led by First Lady of the United States, Mrs. Melania Trump.

The Fostering the Future Together Global Coalition is focused on advancing children’s well-being through education, innovation, and the responsible use of technology, while protecting youth from online dangers. The Coalition reflects a shared commitment among participating nations to help ensure that children – regardless of where they live, can have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and innovative digital environment.

“When we give young people the right tools, the right skills, and safe digital environments, we are not just improving education – we are shaping the future of our societies.” said Lady Williams.

“By participating in Fostering the Future Together, Antigua and Barbuda can ensure that technology becomes a bridge to opportunity for every youth, not a barrier.”

First Lady Melania Trump welcomed Antigua and Barbuda into the coalition, emphasizing the importance of cooperation and support for children in the digital age.

Fostering the Future Together brings together governments, educators, charitable causes and technology partners to expand access to innovative digital tools, support educators and parents, and promote online protections for youth.

As part of its participation in Fostering the Future Together, Halo Foundation intends to advance initiatives aligned with national priorities, which will include the roll out of a national program titled “H.O.W with Halo Foundation” that invites local and international partners to work on:

    – Establishing community STEM labs to support training, hackathons and other innovative programs

    – Deploying platforms that improve access to EdTech and FinTech inclusion tools

    – Delivering capacity-building training programs on technologies to educators, parents, and students

    – Promoting digital citizenship and responsible online engagement for all ages

Additional details regarding specific programs and how to get involved will be announced.

Fostering the Future Together builds upon the recent inaugural summit in Washington D.C. held from March 24 – 25, 2026 where First Lady Melania Trump shared her longstanding “Be Best” platform, reflecting a growing international commitment to ensuring that technology is used responsibly to benefit children and future generations.
