The National Public Library will be housing a cultural and educational camp this August , as part of an initiative aimed at providing young people with meaningful activities ahead of the new school year.

The WORK FU UM! Summer Camp 2026 will take place from August 10 to September 4 and will cater to children between the ages of 4 and 16. The programme will be held weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the National Public Library.

The camp will provide a combination of educational support, cultural exposure and creative development, with activities focused on back-to-school preparation, educational topics, music, dance, pageantry, cultural activities, field trips, community service initiatives and other interactive sessions.

The initiative is expected to give participants an opportunity to build new skills, explore their creativity and engage in activities that encourage learning, teamwork and personal growth during the summer break.

As families prepare for the upcoming academic term, the programme will also assist students with a smooth transition back into school through structured activities that promote education and personal development.

Registration is currently ongoing. Parents and guardians interested in enrolling their children can visit the National Public Library between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday , to complete the registration process. The registration fee is EC$300 and is non-refundable.

The WORK FU UM! Summer Camp 2026 is coordinated by Peetron Music Group and will be held at the National Public Library.
