Jolie-Ana Naomi James of Lagoon, Portsmouth, has been returned to Dominica from Antigua and Barbuda and charged in the investigation into the death of 16-year-old Jerbiah Paul.

James is charged with perverting the course of justice and possession of ammunition without a valid licence. Police spokesman Fixton Henderson said she is expected in court today.

Paul was reported missing July 24. Remains believed to be hers were found in Capuchin on Aug. 12.

Several people have been charged in the case, including police officers Joshua Hamlet and Jean-Luc Langlais with murder, while Rennick Stevens faces a charge of perverting the course of justice. Nyoka James, 21, of Marigot, has also been charged and remanded to prison.

The investigation remains ongoing.
