There were wins for Renegades in the men’s division and for Da Squad in the women’s division of the ongoing Antigua and Barbuda Amateur Volleyball Association (ABAVA) Competition on Wednesday at the sport’s indoor facility at the YMCA Sports Complex.

In their clash against Royal Cruisers, Da Squad prevailed 3-0 in sets, dominating 25-11, 25-23 and 25-13.

Da Squad started out with a thrilling performance keeping their opponent at bay. The second set was closely contested, with Royal Cruisers putting up a strong fight. Despite their efforts to stage a comeback, Royal Cruisers were unable to secure a win in any of the sets.

Meanwhile, Renegades was in dominant form against Sharks, winning 25-8, 25-7 and 25-8 for a 3-0 sets win.

Renegades showcased their dominance right from the start and maintained control throughout the game. The victors displayed their experience and skill by restricting their opponents to under 10 points in all three sets.
