A retail clothing store in Antigua and Barbuda has suffered more than $42,000 in losses following a string of robberies and attempted break-ins over the past five months.
Fashion Connect, which recently relocated to Whenner Road, was first targeted in January 2025 at its previous location in Jennings. Thieves made off with clothing, accessories, jewelry, and equipment worth over $15,000.
The latest and most costly burglary occurred in the early hours of 26 May. Thieves stole similar merchandise and the store’s cash register, bringing losses to over $27,000.
Police confirmed that two other break-in attempts were foiled on 17 and 27 May. Surveillance footage from the latest incident has been shared online as part of a public appeal for assistance.
Several suspects have been identified, and investigations are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Headquarters or the store through their social media channels.
