    APUA Works to Restore Power After Swetes #2 Circuit Failure

    The APUA Electricity Business Unit wishes to inform customers that the Swetes #2 circuit experienced an unplanned outage earlier this morning at approximately 12:21 a.m. due to a fault on the distribution network.

    A section of the circuit was re-energised at 1:51 a.m. However, the fault reoccurred at 4:43 a.m. and the circuit was again re-energised at 5:01 a.m. Unfortunately, power was lost once more at 5:21 a.m. Further assessments and repair work will be carried out this morning to resolve the issue.

    Additionally, a separate report of a power outage in the New Winthorpes area was received this morning. A team will be dispatched to investigate and address the matter.

    Affected Areas: Tyrells, New Village, Green Hill, Evergreen Rd., English Harbour, sections of Piccadilly, Cobb Cross, Falmouth, Patterson, Turtle Bay and sections of Liberta.
