The police have arrested and separately charged a 16-year-old male and a 22-year-old male, both residents of Villa, for committing an act tending to pervert the course of justice.

Both individuals are accused of knowingly providing false information to the police in connection with an active robbery investigation that occurred at Sutherlands on Wednesday, 16 July 2025. They were both taken into custody and formally charged.

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda reminds the public that providing false information to the police is a serious offence and can significantly hinder the administration of justice. The public is urged to cooperate fully with the police in all investigations.

Further investigations into the initial robbery incident remain ongoing.
