Oncemore APUA is being weaponized against our own people. Their apartheid system has been exposed where expatriate companies are undercharged for utilities, while the local population continues to pay the cost.
Recently an APUA customer’s business place was accessed by meter readers who over three days worked on their meter system for electricity, explaining nothing to the owners. Eventually, one staffer advised the management that they had changed the meter. He also explained that APUA apologized for having made an error wit our meter and we were undercharged. However, he said APUA would not be back invoicing, but the new meter charges would be going forward. After ascertaining that the prior owner of the business suffered the same error, the young man said the meter calculator was never turned on so the fees have never been charged.
The property formerly expatriate owned and operated by a thieving, racketeer, and strong financier of the government was intentionally undercharged by APUA for 20 years!
Clearly APUA reserves this privilege for expatriate businesses in addition to the millions in concessions given for 20 years and more, but not available to locals, even when they are in the same business!
