Family, friends, and members of the Bolans community will gather Wednesday evening for a candlelight vigil in memory of Kahleel Simon.

The vigil begins at 6:30 p.m. on October 29 with a walk from Bolans Primary School to West Palm Beach, the site of the incident that claimed Simon’s life. Participants are encouraged to wear yellow, which organizers say symbolizes light, hope, and love.

The event aims to bring the community together in reflection and solidarity as they remember Simon’s life and legacy. Attendees are asked to bring candles and prayers “filled with compassion” as they walk together in support of peace and unity.

T-shirts commemorating the vigil are available for $40 and can be ordered by contacting 786-0067.

Organizers say the evening will serve as both a tribute and a call for continued support under the theme #JusticeForKahleel, #CandlelightVigil, and #GoneButNotForgotten.
