The United Progressive Party (UPP) has announced plans to stage a public picket outside the Public Works Department on St. John’s Street on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

According to a flyer released by the opposition party, the protest aims to demand “an independent investigation” into what it calls the “Vehicle-Gate Scandal.” The demonstration is expected to draw attention to recent controversies involving the alleged procurement and use of government vehicles.

The UPP has urged citizens to participate in what it describes as a peaceful action calling for transparency and accountability from public officials.
