The long-running Browne and Browne programme has expanded from radio to television, marking a new chapter for the political talk show as it began broadcasting live on Point TV.

The shift was announced at the start of Saturday’s programme, which aired from a newly outfitted television studio at the Point Broadcasting Network. Hosts said the move reflects an effort to broaden the show’s reach and elevate public discussion by combining live radio with visual broadcast.

The programme, which has traditionally aired on Point FM, is now being simulcast on cable television, allowing viewers to follow discussions in real time while maintaining its radio audience. Hosts described the transition as a step up in production and presentation, noting that television offers a wider platform for national conversations on policy and development.

Prime Minister Gaston Browne, a regular participant on the show, appeared in studio for the television debut, alongside other panelists, as the programme continued its focus on governance, the economy and national development.

The hosts said the move to television is intended to enrich public discourse and strengthen engagement with viewers locally and across the diaspora, as the programme adapts to changing media consumption habits.
