ST. JOHN’S, Antigua — A three-day bulk waste cleanup initiative in St. John’s Rural East will take place from March 27 to 29, with residents being urged to prepare items for collection on their assigned days.

The initiative, led by area representative Maria Browne, is intended to improve sanitation and safety across several communities by removing large household waste.

Collection begins March 27 in Clare Hall, Gambles, Wireless Road and Cassada Gardens. On March 28, teams will cover St. Johnston’s Village, Skerritts Pasture, Sutherlands, Cassada Gardens #2 and Carnival Gardens. Pickups will continue on March 29 in surrounding areas.

Residents are encouraged to have bulk waste ready ahead of their scheduled collection day. A contact number has been provided for questions related to the exercise.
