An urgent appeal has been issued for blood donations to assist Gavin Gardener of Newfield, who is in critical condition at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC).

Family members and supporters say Gardener requires immediate blood transfusions, with all blood types being accepted. Donors are being asked to visit SLBMC as soon as possible and indicate that their donation is for Gardener.

The appeal stresses that every donation could make a life-saving difference, as medical staff continue efforts to stabilize his condition.

Prospective donors are reminded to bring valid identification when visiting the hospital.

Organizers are also urging members of the public to share the appeal widely to help boost donor turnout.
