    ECAB Announces Permanent Closure of Woods Branch Effective June 1, 2026

    Dear Valued Customer,

    We wish to advise that our ECAB Woods Branch (ECAB Legacy) will be permanently closed effective June 1, 2026.

    To ensure minimal disruption to your banking activities, we ask that you take note of the updated service arrangements following this closure. Please be assured that we are committed to providing a smooth transition and maintaining seamless, convenient service across our branch network and digital channels.

    BRANCH SERVICES:

    Full banking services including ATM services will continue to be available at the following locations:

    • Woods Branch (former Scotiabank location)
    • High Street
    • Redcliffe Street
    • Dockyard
    • Coolidge (Small Business & Commercial)

    NIGHT DEPOSIT SERVICES:

    Night Deposit customers have the option to transfer this service to the branch closest to your business.

    To facilitate this transition, please contact the Woods Branch at 268-480-3921 or email info@ecabank.com to confirm your preferred branch. New keys will be available for collection at the Woods Branch (ECAB Legacy) 48-hrs after your request is received. You will be required to return your existing Woods Branch Night Safe keys to receive your new access keys.

    All arrangements should be completed on or before May 29, 2026 to ensure uninterrupted service.

    SAFETY DEPOSIT SERVICES:

    Customers are invited to transfer their Safe Deposit Box to any of the following locations, subject to availability. We ask that you contact the branch at 268-480-3921 or email info@ecabank.com to confirm your preferred location and arrange the transfer of your box contents on or before May 29, 2026, to any of the branches below:

    1. High Street
    2. Redcliffe Street
    3. Woods Branch (former Scotiabank)
    4. Coolidge

    Please note that boxes not cleared by this date will be transferred to the Redcliffe Street Branch.

    CHEQUE BOOKS & CARDS:

    Customers are encouraged to collect all cheque books and cards by May 29, 2026. All uncollected items will be transferred to the Woods Branch (former Scotiabank) and will be available for collection from June 1, 2026.

    CUSTOMER APPOINTMENTS:

    Appointments for service requests, new accounts, and account updates from June 1, 2026 will be facilitated at:

    • Woods Branch (former Scotiabank location)
    • Redcliffe Street
    • High Street
    • Dockyard
    • Coolidge (Small Business & Commercial)

    ADDITIONAL BANKING OPTIONS:

    Customers may also continue to enjoy convenient banking through our ATM network as well as our Online and Mobile Banking services which are available 24/7.
