Turner Tops National Margins in General Election Landslide Results

This year’s general election produced a range of outcomes, with Rawdon Turner recording the largest victory nationwide after winning his seat by 1,263 votes.

Turner led the field of decisive winners, ahead of Maria Browne, who secured a margin of 1,133 votes, and Prime Minister Gaston Browne, who won by 1,032 votes. The results placed all three among the most dominant performers in the contest.

Several other candidates also achieved comfortable victories. Michael Freeland won by 839 votes, Randy Baltimore by 680, Max Fernandez by 535, Chet Greene by 527, Michael Joseph by 516, and Daryl Matthew by 514, each securing margins of more than 500 votes.

Philmore Benjamin (475), Melford Nicholas (396), and Anthony Smith (384) also recorded clear wins, though with narrower leads.

However, a number of constituencies were closely contested. Kiz Johnson won the tightest race with a margin of just 41 votes, followed by Dwayne George with 81 votes. Jamal Pringle also faced a close result, winning by 164 votes.

The overall results reflected a mix of dominant wins and highly competitive races across the country.
