    Business Leader Sir Aziz Hadeed Dies – Antigua News Room

    Sir Aziz Hadeed, one of Antigua and Barbuda’s most prominent businessmen and philanthropists, has died.

    Sir Aziz passed away on Saturday.

    He was chairman of the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus Council and played a leading role in the expansion of the Hadeed Group of Companies.

    He also served two terms as an Independent Senator after his 1994 appointment and later held a Cabinet position between 2004 and 2006.
