A man is recovering at home after being brutally assaulted and robbed during the early hours of Saturday morning at the West Bus Station.

According to information shared by a relative, the victim was attacked sometime after midnight by unknown assailants who reportedly stole all of his belongings, including his pants and shoes, before leaving him unconscious and clothed only in his underwear.

The injured man reportedly suffered head injuries and was left lying at the bus station until a passerby alerted emergency services.

He was transported by ambulance to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he regained consciousness, received treatment, and was later discharged.

The victim was reportedly unable to identify his attackers, and no arrests have been reported.

The incident has renewed concerns about violent crime and public safety, with relatives expressing alarm that the attack could easily have ended in tragedy.

Police are expected to investigate the matter.
