    Missing Swimmer Terry Tonge Found Dead at Pigeon Point

    _BODY OF MISSING MAN RECOVERED AT PIGEON POINT BEACH_

    The body of a man who was reported missing while swimming at Pigeon Point Beach has been recovered.

    The body was discovered floating in the water by members of the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force Coast Guard at approximately 6:55 a.m. on Thursday, June 25.

    He has been identified as 56-year-old Terry Tonge of Swetes.

    Mr. Tonge was officially pronounced dead at approximately 8:22 a.m. by a medical doctor.

    Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.

    The police extend sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased during this difficult time.
