Liat Air sincerely apologises to its customers, partners and stakeholders for the significant disruption to its flight schedule over the past two days.

The disruption was caused by unforeseen aircraft technical issues that affected the airline’s operations across the network. In keeping with Liat Air’s unwavering commitment to safety, the necessary technical inspections and maintenance were completed before aircraft were returned to service. While these actions were essential to ensuring the highest safety standards, they resulted in delays and cancellations that impacted a number of flights.

Liat Air is actively implementing recovery measures to restore the schedule and avoid further disruption. Our operational teams continue to work around the clock to reaccommodate passengers on the next available Liat Air flight, partner airlines, and other available airline services – we can assure our passengers that every effort is being made to return services to normal as quickly and safely as possible.

Liat Air recognizes the inconvenience these disruptions have caused and thanks its customers and partners for their patience, understanding and continued support. The airline remains fully committed to safely restoring normal operations and providing reliable service across its network.
