The University of the West Indies, Five Islands Campus (UWI FIC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of:

FUNCTIONAL ANALYST

OFFICE OF THE CAMPUS REGISTRAR

(Salary range: XCD$ 102,021.00 – XCD$ 109,866.00)

Reporting on the functional side of the institution’s records management systems, the Functional Analyst determines departmental requirements and supports the configuration, testing, and evaluation needed to bring these systems into operation and keep them running effectively. The role also involves shaping and maintaining the business processes and procedures the system supports, while liaising with functional staff to ensure records and information management needs are met in day-to-day operations. Bringing strong technical know-how to the position, the incumbent reports to the Assistant Registrar – Enterprise Resource Management to support the system’s adoption and continued upkeep across the institution’s business units and sites.

QUALIFICATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in SQL report writing.
• General knowledge of Enterprise Business Applications.
• At least two (2) years’ experience in an enterprise support organization or service provider environment working with and providing solutions to end-users of IT systems.
• Experience in the use of PeopleSoft Human Resource Management Information System and Banner Financial applications will be an asset.
