Healthcare professionals from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC) are participating in the 39th Annual Caribbean Cardiology Conference, where regional experts are discussing the latest developments in cardiovascular medicine.
The conference brings together physicians and other healthcare professionals from across the Caribbean to share research, clinical experiences and emerging approaches to the prevention and treatment of heart disease.
SLBMC said the participation reflects its commitment to continuing medical education and ensuring its staff remain up to date with advances in patient care.
“Continuing education is an important part of delivering high-quality care,” the hospital said. “By staying current with new research, best practices and emerging treatments, our team is better equipped to care for the people of Antigua and Barbuda.”
The hospital also commended the representatives for their commitment to professional development and lifelong learning, noting that the knowledge gained at the conference will help strengthen cardiovascular services for patients in Antigua and Barbuda.
