Bolinda Baptiste of the Halo Foundation hands over scholarship funds to Kamalie Mannix at Government House.
ST. JOHN’S, Antigua and Barbuda — The Halo Foundation has recently made a special donation to Mr. Kamalie Mannix in support of his continued studies at the University of the West Indies (UWI) Global Campus, where he is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies.
Mr. Mannix is not only a student, but also a long-time contributor to the community. As a former educator, he has been a volunteer with the Halo Foundation for several years, generously offering his time, knowledge, and expertise whenever called upon. He is also Past President of the National Youth Parliament. His dedication to community service and youth development has earned him a respected place within the Halo Foundation family. Kamalie is a history enthusiast, and is currently engrossed in research with regard to the life and times of local historical figures .
“This scholarship donation is a reflection of our belief in the power of education to transform lives,” said the Halo Foundation’s spokesperson . “We are proud to invest in deserving young people like Mr. Mannix, who demonstrate commitment, discipline, and a genuine desire to grow and give back.”
