Antigua and Barbuda’s Queen of Carnival, Zainé Frederick, is preparing to represent the country in another regional competition, this time in St. Maarten.
Frederick is set to participate in the Essence & Mind Swimsuit Competition, marking her second regional pageant appearance since capturing the national crown.
The Antigua Barbuda Queen of Carnival organization announced her departure on Tuesday, saying Frederick will once again take her crown beyond Antigua and Barbuda’s shores.
She is expected to take the stage on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 8 p.m., competing against other regional contestants.
The organization has called on supporters at home and abroad to rally behind Frederick as she continues to represent Antigua and Barbuda on the regional pageant circuit.
Frederick’s appearance in St. Maarten follows her reign as Antigua and Barbuda’s Queen of Carnival and represents another opportunity for the national titleholder to showcase herself on an international stage.
