Three Jamaican women are scheduled to be deported from Antigua and Barbuda on Thursday after a court ordered their removal for overstaying the time granted to them by the Immigration Department.

Shantel Haynes, 24, Jova Gordon, 23, and Sophia Bonnick, 50, appeared before a St. John’s magistrate on Monday on charges of remaining in the country beyond their permitted stay.

The court ordered that the three women be removed from Antigua and Barbuda after hearing that they had remained in the country without legal permission.

Their deportation is expected to take place Thursday.
