Antiguan singer Asher Otto is among performers from across the Commonwealth recording a new version of The Beatles’ “With a Little Help from My Friends” for release on October 23.
Senior CHOGM 2026 adviser and One Commonwealth Night executive producer Alvaro Serrano said the recording brings together artists from Antigua and Barbuda, Samoa, Fiji, England, Kenya and Ghana.
Serrano discussed the project during Saturday’s Browne and Browne Show, saying the performers would also appear together at One Commonwealth Night, a concert being staged as part of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
He said the recording began in Antigua and Barbuda and was intended to showcase the country’s musicians to audiences overseas. Serrano predicted the performance could reach millions of viewers.
The concert lineup will also include local performer Arlen Seaton, Tarrus Riley, the Kanneh-Mason siblings and musicians from the Commonwealth Youth Orchestra, Serrano said.
