Aldin Crump has been removed from his position as Director of Public Works following sustained public pressure over the worsening state of Antigua’s roads and persistent shortcomings in the department’s performance.

The move follows months of national complaints, stalled infrastructure projects, and widespread criticism over the lack of road maintenance and project delivery.

Crump’s tenure was widely criticised for failing to address basic infrastructure needs and restore confidence in the department’s ability to deliver.

More details to follow as this is a developing story.
