    Police recovered stolen vehicle and cannabis plants

    The police have recovered several vehicles suspected to have been stolen, along with a quantity of cannabis plants, during a recent operation in the Freetown area.

    At approximately 8:15 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, a team of police officers conducted a search operation at Freetown and discovered eight (8) vehicles of various makes and models hidden in a bushy area. Several of the vehicles were completely stripped of their parts. The police also seized a quantity of cannabis plants found growing in the area.

    The vehicles, along with the controlled substance were transported to Police Headquarters as part of an ongoing investigation.

    The police are urging anyone with information that may assist in the investigations to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or call Crimestoppers at 800-TIPS (8477).

    The Royal Police Force remains committed to reducing criminal activity and ensuring the safety and security of all residents and visitors.
