Police are investigating a series of home break-ins reported between October 30 and November 1 across New Winthropes, Golden Grove Extension, All Saints, and Cades Bay.

In New Winthropes, burglars reportedly forced open a louver window and stole electrical items, including an alarm system. At Golden Grove Extension, intruders broke a kitchen door and took clothing and food.

A home in All Saints was ransacked after entry was gained through a shed and wooden door, though nothing was reported missing. The most serious theft occurred in Cades Bay, where thieves allegedly stole about $3,000 in cash and a silver Toyota RAV4 valued at $18,000.

    Investigations are ongoing.
