POLICE INVESTIGATE SUDDEN DEATH OF SWETES RESIDENT
St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda
The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a 24-year-old male of Swetes.
Police officers attached to the All Saints Police Station responded to a report at the man’s residence early Monday morning, where he was discovered suspended from a window by a restraint around his neck. A family member made the discovery sometime between 5:30 and 6:00 a.m., and immediately alerted the police.
The man was pronounced dead at approximately 7:45 a.m. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident remain ongoing.
The Police Administration extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased as they mourn this tragic loss. The public is respectfully urged to allow the family the privacy, compassion, and respect they deserve during this difficult time.
