The Rotary Club of Antigua Sundown officially marked the beginning of a new Rotary year with its Handover 2026 ceremony, held on Sunday, 5 July 2026, at Ali Baba.
The event brought together Rotarians, invited guests, community partners, sponsors, and supporters to celebrate the Club’s achievements during the 2025–2026 Rotary year and formally welcome its incoming leadership team.
Outgoing President Nicole Stevens reflected on the Club’s work and progress over the past year before officially handing over the presidency to Incoming President Athlyn Davis. President Davis will lead the Club during the 2026–2027 Rotary year under the theme “Create Lasting Impact.”
Members of the incoming Board were also formally pinned during the ceremony, signalling the start of a new year of service, fellowship, and community engagement.
A special highlight of the afternoon was the induction and pinning of new member Kara Warner, who was warmly welcomed into the Rotary Club of Antigua Sundown family. DJ NEZ was also recognised as an Honorary Rotarian for his valued support and contribution to the Club.
The Club further celebrated Past President Khari Lewis, who was recognised as a Paul Harris Fellow. The Paul Harris Fellow recognition is one of Rotary’s most respected honours and acknowledges significant commitment to Rotary’s humanitarian and service efforts.
Certificates of Appreciation were presented to several organisations and individuals whose contributions supported the Club’s work throughout the 2025–2026 Rotary year. These included Shell Beach Restaurant & Bar, The Royal Police Force Band of Antigua and Barbuda, Frank B. Armstrong, ACB Caribbean, Takumi Media, Kayinks, Yao, Tropic Wear, Chaso Media, and other valued partners.
