An Antigua and Barbuda family is denying that any of its members has been associated with or has been arrested in Canada over an alleged drug bust.

The family, which wishes not to be identified at this time, based on instructions from its attorney, is clearing the air regarding a photo that has been circulated on social media which claims that two of the persons in the photo have been arrested in Canada.

Both family members featured in the photograph are at home here in Antigua and Barbuda and neither has traveled to Canada within the last ten years.

The family is therefore appealing to members of the public to desist from circulating the photo as the matter is now in the hands of its attorney who is currently considering all legal options available.
