A man known only as “Mr AC” has become Antigua and Barbuda’s first Super Lotto jackpot winner, claiming EC$4.35 million.

He was officially presented with his prize at the Antigua and Barbuda Hospitality Training Institute on Tuesday.

Mr AC matched the numbers 1, 6, 10, 12, 23 and Super Ball 9 on 13 May with a ticket bought at Bridgette’s Bar.

He had played the same numbers for 16 years.

The jackpot is the largest ever won in the country. Super Lotto is played in seven jurisdictions twice a week and starts at US$1.5m. Since its launch, it has paid out more than US$65m in prizes.
