Reverend Bishop Charlesworth Browne has been awarded the prestigious Kailasa Mitra Award by the Kailasa Foundation, a group that describes itself as the revival of an ancient enlightened civilization with a history spanning thousands of years.

The award recognises Bishop Browne’s longstanding efforts in advancing faith, fostering cooperation, and uniting enlightened societies in the pursuit of global peace and harmony.

In presenting the award, Ambassador Mokshapriyananda hailed Bishop Browne as a symbol of “oneness”—a core tenet of Hindu philosophy that centres on non-duality and universal unity. “Oneness is the ultimate goal of Hinduism, and Bishop Charlesworth Browne is the epitome of that expression,” the ambassador stated.

He further described Bishop Browne as “a light and a great friend to Kailasa,” praising his dedication to building bridges across communities and working toward the greater good of humanity.
