Parents and guardians across Antigua and Barbuda can once again benefit from the annual School Uniform Grant Programme, which officially launched today in preparation for the September 2025 academic year.

Now in its 20th year, the Ministry of Education-led initiative provides school-aged children with at least one uniform to support families ahead of the new school term.

The programme will run until August 29 at the Multipurpose Cultural and Exhibition Centre. Opening hours are Mondays to Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Eligibility criteria remain unchanged. Children must be at least five years old by December 31, 2025, and will remain enrolled in the programme through to the end of Fourth Form.

Returning beneficiaries are required to present the student’s most recent report card along with a government-issued ID. First-time applicants must bring an acceptance letter or third-term report, as well as valid identification for both the student and parent/guardian.

Nearly 20,000 vouchers were issued last year as part of the programme.

For further details, contact the programme at 268-562-7247 / 562-7248 or via email at schooluniform.grantprogramme@ab.gov.ag.
