Legendary Burning Flames musician Oungku has commended security officers for their efforts during this year’s Tuesday Mas celebrations, revealing that they confiscated more than two dozen weapons from attendees.

In a social media post, Oungku said patrons at the RHN event urged him to pay the security team double for their work — even before they knew about the seizures.

A photo shared by the artist showed a table lined with confiscated items, including scissors and several knives, reportedly taken from “young invaders” during the festivities.

Antigua carnival 2025 was hailed a major success.
