    Shooting Incident in Bolans Leaves Man Injured

    The police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Bolans on the evening of Wednesday, 6 August 2025.

    It was reported that a male resident of Hatton was visiting his girlfriend in the area, when an unknown assailant emerged from the eastern side of a nearby house and opened fire on the vehicle he was driving.

    The victim sustained gunshot wounds to his left foot and right thigh and was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre. His injuries are non-life-threatening, and he is reported to be in stable condition.

    The suspect was descibed as wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, and black face mask.

    The police are appealing to anyone with information that may assist in this investigation to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or call Crime Stoppers at 800-TIPS (8477).
