Antigua & Barbuda has recorded a notable rise in visitors from the United States, according to the U.S. Tourism Office.

Officials report that stay-over arrivals from the U.S. are up 6% compared with 2024 figures.

Dean Fenton, the U.S. Director of Tourism, attributed the growth to targeted marketing campaigns and strong partnerships with travel operators.

“Our focused efforts, combined with a mutually beneficial relationship with our travel partners, are clearly paying off,” he said.

Norrell Joseph, Sales and Marketing Manager, echoed the sentiment, highlighting the value of collaborative promotion in attracting more tourists.

The increase in U.S. arrivals is seen as a boost to the twin-island nation’s tourism-dependent economy, which has been recovering steadily from the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
