    AIDS Secretariat Launches New Campaign with National Symposium and Teen Forum Ahead of World AIDS Day

    Two Major plans are in the pipeline as the country’s AIDS Secretariat ramps up its anti STI campaign ahead of the 2025 World AIDS Day Week of Activities.

    Among the early events being planned are the first annual HIV/AIDS symposium on Wednesday November 26th starting 5.30pm which will be followed by the National Teens Talk Day, two days later on the 28th.

    That initiative wiĺl run from 9am to 1pm.

    Both events are slated for the Multi-Purpose Cultural and Exhibition Center and some of the topics to be discussed include Facts of HIV/AIDS and STIs, Personal Impacts of choices and consequences, Navigating social pressure, Violence, Crime and HIV Risks as well as Media Literacy and Self Esteem.

    Ten Schools have been invited to attend the National Teens Day event, with invitations sent out to eight government schools and two private institutions.

    World AIDS Day 2025 will be held on December 1st.
