A woman is assisting police with investigations after she narrowly escaped an attempted sexual assault in the Bathlodge area last Thursday morning.

According to reports, the incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. while the woman was walking along the road and accepted a ride from two men. Police say that shortly after she entered the vehicle, the driver turned onto Guava Avenue and drove to a secluded, bushy area where the car was stopped.

The woman reported that she was ordered out of the vehicle and threatened with serious physical harm if she did not comply with the men’s sexual demands. She managed to escape from the situation and immediately contacted emergency services by calling 911.

Authorities are continuing investigations and are working to identify and locate the suspects involved in the alleged incident. Anyone with information is being urged to contact the police. SOURCE- DAILY OBSERVER
